Drawn to Descend, deuxième album de Ov Hollowness, refuse ce système d'accord : s'il porte ce nom, c'est parce qu'avec l'introduction de riffs thrash metal, des mélodies catchy et parfois du chant clair, le black metal de ce one-man band nous attrape par le col et on a même envie d'y retourner une fois fini !

De l'action de descendre sciemment vers le néant au constat simple, lancé dans un dernier soupir, comme si on était mis devant le fait accompli : There is no beauty left here... Mais contre toute attente, ce chant du cygne d'Exiled from Light n'est pas une acceptation résignée de la mort. Mort (je parle de l'artiste) est animé de l'énergie du désespoir, cette énergie qui fait accomplir des choses extraordinaires quand tout est perdu et ça rend son DSBM très beau, paradoxalement. Indispensable !!
